MILWAUKEE – The No. 14/15 Marquette University men's basketball team used 21 points from Oso Ighodaro and 20 from David Joplin in a 75-57 win over Seton Hall on Saturday afternoon at Fiserv Forum.
The Golden Eagles (15-5, 6-3 BIG EAST) trailed by six points late in the first half before Ben Gold's first of three 3-pointers vaulted MU on a 56-32 run over the final 24:05 of regulation.Â
Gold's second triple at the 1:12 mark of the first half to give MU its first lead of the game, 28-27.Â
Seton Hall (13-8, 6-4 BIG EAST) was led in scoring by 18 points from Jaden Bediako.

- The Golden Eagles lead the all-time series with Seton Hall, 23-14, with all but one of the matchups coming after MU joined the BIG EAST. Â
- Ighodaro recorded his first career game with at least 20 points, seven rebounds, four steals and two blocks. He finished with 21 points, seven boards, four assists and two blocks in 35 minutes of action.
- Ighodaro has posted at least four assists in four of the last five games.
- MU guard Stevie Mitchell posted 13 points, six rebounds and five steals in 36 minutes. It's his third-straight game in double figures and the fourth time this season he's reached six boards. Mitchell's five steals are one off a personal best and just the third time in his career that he's reached the mark.
- Tyler Kolek posted 11 assists, his fifth game this season in double figures. He's had 11 assists in three of the last four games.
- Gold finished with nine points and has hit three 3-pointers in each of his last two games.Â
- Led by Gold's nine points, Marquette outscored Seton Hall's bench, 14-2, in today's game.
- Today's matchup against Seton Hall had a sellout attendance of 17,751 at Fiserv Forum. This is the third sellout of Fiserv Forum this season for MU (others were Notre Dame on Dec. 9 and Creighton on Dec. 30).Â
