Golden Eagles prep for third race of the season
MILWAUKEE – Marquette University cross country heads to Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Friday for the Blugold Invite.
The Golden Eagles will compete alongside 17 teams at Whitetail Golf Course, including Minnesota, Northwestern, and St. John's.
The women's 6k begins at 4:15 p.m. CT. The men's 8k starts at 5:15 p.m. CT. Results will be posted to WayzataTiming.com.
Marquette last competed on Friday, Sept. 20 at the National Catholic Invite at Notre Dame.
Emma Coon paced the women's team for the second meet in a row, finishing 39th with a time of 18:47.10. Logan Goodman led the men's side in his first action this fall finishing 48th at 25:46.80.
