Sophomore paces MU for third time this fall
EAU CLAIRE, Wisconsin – Marquette University cross country competed at the Blugold Invite on Friday in Eau Claire in their third race of the fall.
The Golden Eagles were led by Emma Coon on the women's side for the third race in a row. The sophomore from De Pere, Wisconsin set a new 6k PR at 22:45.8.
Audrey Grimm joined Coon in the top 20, finishing 19th at 23:17.2.
The men were paced by Edgar Valles for the second race this fall. The freshman from El Paso, Texas set a new 8k PR at 25:33.0 to finish 24th.
Logan Goodman finished 29th at 25:42.9.
