Cross Country Wraps Up Final Regular Season Race at Bradley Pink Classic

PEORIA, Illinois – Marquette University cross country competed at the Bradley Pink Invite on Friday in the last race of the regular season.

The Golden Eagles ran alongside 50 teams at Newman Golf Course. The men and women had both a red and white division race.

"Two things are true with this one. We had quite a few success stories when we look at the individual level and have gotten a lot better, but so has our competition," Associate Head Cross Country Coach Jack Hackett said. "We'll need to keep taking big steps to where we want to be and I know we are capable of it."

Logan Goodman paced the men for the second time this fall at 25:27.96 in the red 8k race, a new PR.

Charlie McCurdy, in his second race for MU, had a PR of 26:24.46. The men PR'd by an average of 4.9 seconds.

Emma Coon put up the fastest time on the women's side at 22:12.64 in the red 6k race for a new PR.

Sadie Kibelstis, Audrey Grimm, Gianna Konen, Ava Thomas and Gretchen Pfeiffer all set 6k PRs on the women's side. The women's team PR'd by an average of 30.8 seconds.
