MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University men's soccer team (6-3-1, 2-0-0 BIG EAST) will travel to South Orange, NJ to take on No. 15 Seton Hall (7-1-1, 0-1-1 BIG EAST) Friday, October 4 at 5:56 p.m. CT at Owen T. Carroll Field.

Marten Brink Named To Big East Weekly Honor Roll

Freshmen goalkeeper Marten Brink of the Marquette men's soccer program was honored by the BIG EAST for the second time this season. Brink has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending September 29.
The Stukenbrock, Germany native faced 11 shots and tallied three saves on the night and recorded his fourth career clean sheet in the match vs the Bulldogs.
The 6'7 keeper is currently tied for second place in the BIG EAST in shutouts (4) and leads the league in saves (37) and saves per game (4.1).

MU Takes 2-0 Decision Over Butler In Big East Home Opener

Marquette is off to its best start since the 2013 season following a 2-0 victory over Butler.
In the 20th minute Abdoul Karim Pare was fouled in the box which resulted in a penalty kick. Mitar Mitrovic netted the PK to put the Golden Eagles ahead 1-0.
At halftime Marquette lead Butler 1-0 on their lone goal from Mitrovic. The Golden Eagles out-shot the Bulldogs 6-4 in the first half of play.
In the 52nd minute Gabe Anguil dispossessed a Butler defender just outside of their box and found the back of the net to extend Marquette's lead to 2-0.
