Golden Eagles end two-game homestand before traveling to Rutgers
MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's basketball team hosts IU Indy on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 12 p.m. CT at the Al McGuire Center.
The matchup airs on FloCollege with Bob Brainerd (play-by-play) and Chloe Marotta (analyst) on the call. Live stats will be accessible at GoMarquette.com.
Marquette is coming off a 92-37 win over Illinois Springfield on Monday, Nov. 18. The win was Cara Consuegra's first as head coach at Marquette.
The Golden Eagles were led by Skylar Forbes, who had a career-high 18 points on 9-of-12 shooting and eight rebounds. Lee Volker scored in double-digits for the third straight game, adding 14 points, five rebounds and three assists.
Jaidynn Mason, in her first start at MU, had 10 points, three rebounds and two steals on 5-of-5 shooting. Kennedi Perkins had 10 points and a career-high five rebounds.
Following Sunday's outing, Marquette travels to Piscataway, N.J. on Friday, Nov. 28 and Saturday, Nov. 29 for the Battle on the Banks, a two-game MTE hosted by Rutgers. MU plays Rutgers on Friday at 1 p.m. CT and Maryland Eastern Shore Saturday at 3:30 p.m. CT.
