Golden Eagles back in action at DePaul Sunday
MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to UIC Friday evening.
The Golden Eagles opened the match by claiming the doubles point. Jan Jauch and Jasper Schaadt took the first victory for the Golden Eagles at the No. 2 spot. Blake Roegner and Tin Krstulovic rounded out the doubles point with a 7-5 win at No. 1
The Flames went on to take five of six of the singles matches.
Krstulovic earned the lone singles victory for the Golden Eagles with a tiebreaker win at No. 2 (5-7, 6-2, 11-9).
UP NEXT: Marquette will travel to Chicago, Sunday, March 3rd for a BIG EAST matchup vs DePaul at 1:30PM CT.
