Windbuchler clinches win for the Golden Eagles
ORLANDO, Fla. -Ā The Marquette University women's tennis team took a 4-0 victory over Marist Tuesday at Spring Break Tennis powered by USTA.
The Golden Eagles opened the match by claiming the doubles point with a pair of wins at the No. 2 and 3 spots.
In singles play Emilija Kojcic opened the match with a straight-set victory at No. 1 (6-2, 6-1). Ā
Senior Lara Kaiser took a win at No. 6 in a straight-set fashion (6-1, 6-2) to give the Golden Eagles a 3-0 team advantage.
Tiana Windbuchler clinched the victory with a 6-4, 6-3 win at the No. 4 spot.
UP NEXT:Ā The Golden Eagles will continue play at SBT vs Navy at 5:30 pm CT.
