MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Marquette University men's soccer team (5-5-2, 0-5-0 BIG EAST) will Senior Night on Tuesday, hosting Edgewood University at Valley Fields. The match is schedule to start at 7 p.m. CT. The program will honor 10Â seniors at 6 p.m.

Nonconference vs. Conference
Heading into its final nonconference match of the season, Marquette is 5-0-2 in 2025 against nonconference opposition. The Golden Eagles have also seen all but one of its goals come against nonconference opponents.
On the flipside, MU is 0-5-0 in BIG EAST play, scoring just once. Four of its five defeats were one-goal matches.
Unbeaten No More
In a wild nine-goal contest on Oct. 7, Marquette outlasted previously unbeaten UIC, 5-4. Braces from Nico Pendelton and Mads Konrad Horgøien propelled the Golden Eagles past the Flames which entered the match at 7-0-3.
Horgøien scored MU's final two goals, his third and fourth of the season.
Helping the cause, goalkeeper Cameron Simpson produced a pair of penalty stops in the opening 40 minutes.
High Five
Marquette's five-goal outing against UIC marked its fourth straight season with a match in which it scored at least five goals. Prior to the recent stretch, the Golden Eagles had scored five or more in a match in just six seasons dating back to 2000.
Defense Looks For Offensive Help
Through 12 matches, the Golden Eagles have allowed a total of 17 goals but nearly half of those have come in just two matches, a 3-3 draw against Drake on Aug. 28 and a 5-4 win over UIC on Oct. 7.
Offensively, however, Marquette has tallied just 19 goals of its own and has just one in five BIG EAST outings.
Forwards Mitchell Dryden and Mads Konrad Horgøien lead the way with four goals apiece. Dryden has a pair of match-winners while Horgøien got his first of the year against UIC. Nine different players own at least one score in 2025.
51st Milwaukee Cup Champs
The Marquette University men's soccer team scored two goals in the final ten minutes to win 3-2 over Milwaukee in the 51st Milwaukee Cup on Sept. 23.
The Golden Eagles netted three goals in the second half, started by Grant Locker in the 50th minute. It was the second-straight year Locker scored in the Milwaukee Cup.
Mads Konrad Horgøien scored his second goal of the season off a volley in the 81st minute that was assisted by Antonio Costabile and Kyle Bebej.
Two minutes later Tristan Rønnestad-Stevens gave MU the lead off a rebound for his first goal of his career.
MU In Year Two Under Korn
The 2025 season is the second season for David Korn as the head coach for the Golden Eagles men's soccer team.
The Golden Eagles went 6-7-4 (2-4-2 BIG EAST) during Korn's first year in Milwaukee. Marquette players earned five BIG EAST weekly honors in 2024.
Before coming to Marquette, Korn spent eight seasons at NCAA Division II Maryville University in St. Louis.
2025 Team Captains
Tristan Rønnestad-Stevens and Justin Milovanov were voted team captains for the 2025 season by the squad. Both are first-time captains.
