Golden Eagles Set for Showdown at Creighton

The Marquette University volleyball team will face their fifth ranked matchup this season, taking on No. 12 Creighton (17-5, 10-0 BIG EAST). The match is set for a 7:00 p.m. CT first serve this Saturday, Nov. 1, at D.J. Sokol Arena in Omaha, Neb., and will be broadcasted by Nebraska Public Media.

LAST TIME OUT

Marquette took down DePaul in four sets on Wednesday (Oct. 29) in Chicago. Marquette was led offensively by Natalie Ring with 17 kills and Hattie Bray, who hit .421 with 11 kills and five blocks. Setter Isabela Haggard distributed the offense effectively with 36 assists and added 22 digs, while Elena Radeff contributed across multiple categories including three blocks and five digs.

HISTORY vs. OPPONENTS

The Golden Eagles and Bluejays will face off for the 39th time in program history this Saturday, with Creighton holding a 31-7 advantage in the all-time series. MU hosted Creighton earlier this season at the Al McGuire Center, falling in three sets on Oct. 2.

Outside hitter Natalie Ring has put on a dominant performance this season leading MU in kills with 360, which leads all hitters in the BIG EAST and ranks 21st in the NCAA. Her 4.57 kills/set also leads the conference and ranks 18th nationally, and her 5.20 points/set is first in the BIG EAST and 14th in the NCAA.
