VB Hosts St. John's and Seton Hall in Final Homestand

The Marquette University volleyball team will host its final homestand of the 2025 season at the Al McGuire Center this weekend, with a pair of BIG EAST matchups on home court.

MU will kick the weekend off hosting St. John's (8-17, 4-8 BIG EAST) this Friday, Nov. 7, for a 7:00 p.m. first serve. The Golden Eagles then welcome Seton Hall (6-17, 0-12 BIG EAST) this Sunday, Nov. 9, for a noon first serve.

WEEKEND PROMOTIONS

Marquette hosts a busy weekend at the Al McGuire Center with two special events. Friday features a 50th Anniversary celebration welcoming volleyball alumni, while Sunday's Senior Day honors eight Golden Eagles—Ally Eckel, Allie Korba, Adriana Studer, Sienna Ifill, Ella Holmstrom, Morgan Daugherty, Elena Radeff, and Hattie Bray—with a ceremony at 11:45 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT

Marquette split its road matches last week, topping DePaul in four sets on Wednesday (Oct. 29) before falling to No. 12 Creighton in five on Saturday (Nov. 1).
Natalie Ring led the way with 40 kills, while Hattie Bray added 21 kills and eight blocks. Setter Isabela Haggard tallied double-doubles in both matches with 79 assists and 34 digs.

HISTORY vs. OPPONENTS

The Golden Eagles will face both of this weekend's opponents for the second time this season, after winning a pair of four-set matches back on Oct. 11-12.
MU holds a 28-9 all-time advantage over St. John's, and a 27-5 record against Seton Hall.

RING LEADER

Outside hitter Natalie Ring has put on a dominant performance this season, leading MU in kills with 383, which leads all hitters in the BIG EAST and ranks 20th in the NCAA. Her 4.56 kills/set also leads the conference and ranks 18th nationally, and her 5.15 points/set is first in the BIG EAST and 15th in the NCAA.

The Golden Eagles are hitting .246 to rank 5th in the BIG EAST and 71st nationally, while averaging 13.17 kills per set, good for 4th in the conference. MU ranks 4th in the BIG EAST in assists (11.99/set) and 5th in blocks (2.23/set).
Hattie Bray ranks 3rd in the BIG EAST with 1.11 blocks per set, and is 6th in hitting percentage at .350. She has totaled 93 blocks on the year, including a season-high nine at St. John's (Oct. 11).
Isabela Haggard ranks 2nd in the BIG EAST with 9.27 assists per set, while sitting 4th in the conference and 86th nationally with 769 total assists.
Adriana Studer ranks 7th in the BIG EAST with 308 total digs (3.50 per set), coming off a 23-dig effort at Creighton.
Marquette ranks 3rd in the BIG EAST in opponent hitting percentage (.189) and has held 10 of 12 conference opponents below .230.
The Golden Eagles have recorded 10+ team blocks in five of the last seven matches, highlighted by 17.0 at St. John's and 14.0 at Georgetown and Villanova.
Hattie Bray sits at 993 career kills, and is set to eclipse the 1,000-career-kill mark at some point this season. If she were to do so, Bray will be the 4th middle blocker and 15th overall player to eclipse the 1,000 kill mark in MU history.
