MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University men's soccer team (3-0-2, 0-0-0 BIG EAST) open BIG EAST play on Friday, Sept. 19 at Creighton (3-2-2, 0-0-0 BIG EAST) at 7 p.m. CT at Morrison Stadium.

MU Begins Year 21 in BIG EAST
- The Golden Eagles enter year 21 playing in the BIG EAST Conference in 2025.
- Marquette won the conference tournament in 2013 and were BIG EAST regular season champions in 2011.
- The Golden Eagles are 3-0-2 through the first five games of the season, the fifth time in program history MU is undefeated through the first five games of the season.
- The last time came during the 2023 season, when the Golden Eagles started out 6-0.
- MU ended its season-opening five-match home stand with a 1-0 win over Lipscomb on Saturday night.
- The Golden Eagles were led by Mitchell Dryden, who netted his third goal of the season in the 20th minute on an assist from Andreas Fotland, the freshman's first point of his career.
- Marquette outshot the Bisons 23-8 including a 16-4 difference in the second half.
- Marten Brink earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after his second shutout of the season with two saves in a 1-0 win over Lipscomb on Saturday.
