Jack Hackett ’13 begins second year leading cross country program
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University cross country team opens the 2025 campaign at the Voc Godfrey Open on Friday in Kenosha.
The Golden Eagles will be competing against Lake Forest, North Park, Penn West, Winona State and Parkside at the at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.
The women's 4k begins at 5 p.m CT. The men's 6k starts at 5:45 p.m. CT. Results will be posted to WisconsinRunner.com.

Associate Head Cross Country Coach Jack Hackett begins his second season leading his alma mater. Hackett, who graduated in 2013, ran cross country and track at MU and has multiple program top 10 marks.

The Golden Eagles return 18 letterwinners from last year's squad, including captains Mia Nutile and Sean Kellogg. Alexa Overstreet and Emma Coon round out the leadership group.
