Luciana Mendoza recorded the lone win for MU
ORLANDO, FLA. - The Marquette University women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Quinnipiac on Tuesday evening.
The Bobcats opened doubles play with wins at the first and second position, gaining a 1-0 lead headed into singles.
On the singles side, Quinnipiac picked up five singles wins to secure the match.
Luciana Mendoza recorded the only point for MU on court five as she defeated Meng 6-2, 6-3.
UP NEXT
The Golden Eagles will continue play in MU territory as they face SIUE on Saturday at 11 a.m.
