Sophomore (2005-06) -- Binkley had another solid season for the Golden Eagles as he tallied 17 wins with a 17-17 record on the season matching Stephen Shao for the most wins. Was second in all time dual wins with a 14-9 record in and notched a 6-3 conference mark. Played 10 matches at both no. 4 singles and no. 5 singles posting records of 7-3 and 6-4, respectively. Went 4-8 in the fall season. After losing his first spring match, Binkley took a string of five matches before falling and then bounced back to win consecutive matches against Wis-Green Bay and Texas Pan American at no. 4 singles. Binkley ended the season winning his last six of eight matches that included four conference wins. In doubles play, Binkley matched up with Pete Van Lieshout for a majority of the season going 11-7 overall at all three doubles spot. The duo suffered only one loss at no. 2 doubles in dual competition and were undefeated (5-0) in conference play. Binkley and Van Lieshout were 2-4 at no. 1 doubles and 1-0 at no. 3 doubles. Binkley also teamed up with Flemming, Vedrickas, Servoss and Hagan posting a combined record of 9-6 on the season. When playing with both Servoss and Hagan, Binkley was undefeated in doubles play with records of 1-0 and 2-0, respectively. Freshman (2004-05) -- Binkley performed well in his first season at the no. 4 spots. He went 11-8 at the no. 4, and finished the season at 17-17. In doubles, he teamed with Pete Van Lieshout to go 11-8 at the no. 2 spot. Prior to Marquette -- Binkley earned three high school letters and was a Kansas state champion as a sophomore. He placed third in state as a senior. Personal -- Born in Arlington, Texas, Binkley is the son of Richard and Susan Binkley. He has two older siblings, Ben and Laura.
