Indoor (Fr.): During the Notre Dame Blue and Gold Invitational, Sagan finished his 200-meter dash in 22.52, placing him as the 10th fastest time in Marquette history ... Placed first at the UW-Parkside Classic in the 400 when he topped all his competitors by finishing in 51.80 ... Tallied a second place finish in the 400-meter dash as he finished in 51.87 at the UW-Parkside Classic. Sagan also placed fourth in the 200 by a time of 23.01 at the same meet.
Outdoor (Fr.): When the decathlon finished at the BIG EAST Championships, Sagan was given a silver medal for his total score of 5603. Sagan also finished the meet with 10 new PRs ... Made the top-five at fifth place during the Marquette Duals in pole vaulting when he cleared 2.20 meters (7-2.5 feet) ... Placed sixth at the Wisconsin Alumni classic for his 42.55 meter (139-7 feet) javelin throw ... Amassed seven top-ten finishes during his inaugural outdoor season.
