Prior to Marquette: Ring played four years of volleyball at Edgewood High School in Madison, Wisconsin where she was team captain as a senior and four-time all-state performer … 2021 AVCA Second Team All-America … PrepVolleyball Top 150 (No. 140), also recognized in the 'Frosh 59' and 'Soph 79' … Conference co-player of the year as a senior while helping the Crusaders to a conference title … Also unanimous first team all-conference selection as a senior, first team all-league as a sophomore and second team as a freshman … Helped Edgewood to a pair of regional titles (2018 and 2020) in addition to a 2020 sectional title, while qualifying for the state tournament … Concluded high school career with 1,287 kills, 564 digs, 170 aces, 179 blocks and a .280 hitting percentage … Capital Volleyball Academy National Teams from 2016 to 2022 … A2 USA Volleyball Training Programs in 2018 and A1 USA Volleyball Training Programs in 2019 … Was a teammate of Marquette setter Ella Foti at Edgewood High School and with Capital Volleyball Academy.

Theis on Ring: "Natalie has been at Marquette's camps for years and is an absolute treat to be around. She brings cannon of an arm and a huge work ethic. Natalie wants to be great and is willing to work for it. I think she is going to score a lot of points in her career."

Marquette gave me the opportunity to play high level Division I volleyball while being surrounded by incredible coaches and players. Marquette is a strong academic institution that is close to home. The volleyball program has strong support from the University and the community."
