The 2023-24 campaign marked the first for Caitlyn Isler, who serves as Assistant Athletic Director (WBB), with the Marquette University women's basketball program.
Isler is involved in the day-to-day operations of the program, including management of the program’s budget and relationship with Jordan Brand, coordination of team travel and assistance with Marquette Made, the program’s student-athlete development program. She also assists with summer camps and is the external relations liaison with groups including alumni, marketing and communications.
Marquette made history during the 2023-24 season with the best start in program history at 12-0. The Golden Eagles were one of 10 teams in the country to go undefeated in nonconference, including winning the Fort Meyers Tip-Off over Thanksgiving weekend. MU earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament with 23 wins and finished tied for third at 11-7 in the BIG EAST with St. John's and Villanova.
Isler arrived at Marquette after most recently serving for two seasons (2021-23) as director of women’s basketball operations at George Washington. In her role with the program, her duties included organizing team travel, working as a liaison with administration and coordinating the team’s alumni outreach.
Prior to GW, Isler spent three years in a similar role with the Stony Brook women’s basketball team (2018-21). Her responsibilities included managing travel logistics and coordinating summer camp programming and the team’s community service efforts.
A two-time graduate of The Ohio State University, Isler earned her bachelor’s degree in sports industry in 2016 and her master’s in sports management in 2018. While at OSU, she worked with the women’s basketball program as a graduate assistant, student manager and camp counselor.
