MILWAUKEE – The No. 19/16 Marquette women's basketball team is back in action after a quick break and will host Binghamton on Monday night at the Al McGuire Center. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. CT and will stream for free on GoMarquette.com.
Jenny Fischer (play-by-play) and John Steppe (analyst) will call the action from the sidelines with Jessica January providing sideline commentary.
The Golden Eagles (8-2) downed in-state foe Green Bay on Saturday, 80-54 as Natisha Hiedeman led all scorers and four Golden Eagles in double digits with 18 points. Junior Isabelle Spingola turned in a season-best 17 points, while Allazia Blockton and Erika Davenport recorded 13 and 10 points, respectively.
This will be the first meeting between Marquette and Binghamton.
The Golden Eagles will play their final non-conference game of the season when the squad hosts No. 2 Notre Dame on Saturday, Dec. 22 at 12:30 p.m. CT. The game will air live on FS1.

BINGHAMTON (5-6, 0-0 America East): The Bearcats fell at No. 2 Notre Dame, 103-53 on Sunday and head to the Midwest for the two-game road trip. Rebecca Carmody leads the team with 14.0 points per game and 7.8 rebounds, while Binghamton averages 63.0 points combined. Prior to this road trip the Bearcats have faced a ranked opponent just once and will now be playing ranked squads in back-to-back games. Head coach Bethann Shapiro Ord is in her first season leading Binghamton.

STORYLINES
- The Golden Eagles snapped a stretch of six games in which the squad has fallen to Green Bay. Saturday was the first time since 2011 that Marquette was victorious over the Phoenix.
- Marquette scored 80 points against Green Bay, the most points the Phoenix have allowed all season.
- Allazia Blockton is now Marquette women's basketball's all-time leading scorer. At the 4:18 mark of the fourth quarter at Northwestern the Milwaukee native made history. She has amassed 1,959 career points in 107 game and is on pace to become the first Golden Eagle, male or female, to reach 2,000 career points.
- Marquette is currently the only program is the country with five active 1,000-point scorers. Blockton (1,959) is joined by Natisha Hiedeman (1,310), Erika Davenport (1,277), Amani Wilborn (1,112) and King (1,091). Soon, No. 2 Notre Dame will also earn the distinction as it has four active 1,000-point scorers and a fifth (Jackie Young) just 31 points away (entering Monday). Both teams will meet on Dec. 22 at the Al McGuire Center in Milwaukee.
