Men's Tennis Claims Pair of Runner-up Finishes

Balthazor, Tennison, Robinson in title matches
The Marquette University men's tennis team wrapped up play Sunday afternoon at the Purdue Invitational, claiming a pair of runner-up finishes in singles and doubles action.
Freshman Nathan Balthazor claimed the opening set in his championship match of the Flight F bracket, but was unable to close out his opponent from Dayton (Jayman Jhattu).
Junior Julian Robinson and freshman Will Tennison advanced to the championship match of the Flight C doubles draw, but came up short 6-2 in the title competition against a duo from Dayton.
The Golden Eagles were represented by a total of six players at the weekend event.
