Women's Tennis Hosts UIC and Green Bay This Weekend

The Golden Eagle's open dual play at home
MILWAUKEE—The Marquette University women's tennis hosts two matches at the Helfaer Tennis Center this weekend against UIC and Green Bay, at 9:30 a.m. CT and 3 p.m. CT, respectively.
The Golden Eagles are looking to enter strong into dual play after a successful weekend at the IU Winter Invitational.
The pairs of Elizabeth Ferdman and Tiana Windbuchler, Natalija Popovic and Windbuchler, and Giulia Turconi and Elisabeth Desmarais took a win each on Sunday. On Monday, Marquette won six of seven matches.
Coming off a 20-6 season in 2018-19, UIC opens their season against MU this weekend. Green Bay went 3-19 in the 2018-19 season, and kicks off their 2020 campaign on Friday, Jan. 24 against Northern Illinois.
Following Saturday's action, the Golden Eagles will host UW and MSU at 1 p.m. CT and 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Helfaer Tennis Center.
