Redshirt senior Koby McEwen paced the Golden Eagles (2-1) with 21 points and four assists. Senior Jamal Cain had his first career double-double at MU, tallying 13 points and a career-high 13 rebounds.
The Cowboys now lead the all-time series 5-1 and are 2-0 in Milwaukee.Â
Notables:
- In the last meeting, MU took a 91-61 win at the Maui Invitational in 2007.
- Two of the nation's top freshmen squared off in MU's Dawson Garcia and OSU's Cade Cunningham. Cunningham is viewed by many as the No. 1 prospect for the 2021 NBA Draft.Â
