Golden Eagles Lead All-Times Series With GB
  Â
Marquette and Green Bay have met on 12 occasions in the all-time series, which dates back to the 1982-83 campaign.
  Â
All but one of the matchups have come in Milwaukee, but the most recent outing occurred in Green Bay on Dec. 19, 2012 and resulted in a 49-47 victory for the Phoenix.
  Â
Marquette opened the series with five-straight wins in 1982-86 and the programs have faced each other just three times since 1996.
Defensive Focus Shows Early Dividends
  Â
The Marquette coaching staff focused on the defensive end of the court in the shortened preseason and early in 2020-201 those efforts are paying dividends for the Golden Eagles.
  Â

Lewis' Tip Helps Seal BIG EAST Weekly Honor

Lewis averaged 12.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while shooting 57.1 percent from the floor in a pair of games against UW and Oklahoma State. He finished with a team-best 18 points in the win over No. 4 Wisconsin and had a personal-high 13 rebounds against Oklahoma State.
