Baird 'Blue & Gold' Student-Athlete of the Month: Maddie Monticello

The junior women's soccer player is Marquette's SAAC Vice President for Service
MILWAUKEE - Junior women's soccer player Maddie Monticello is the Baird Blue & Gold Student-Athlete of the Month for the Month of April, as chosen by Marquette Athletics' Academics and Student Programs staff.
The Chicago native has been a three-year participant in the athletic department's LEAD leadership development program and an important member of SHAPE, MU's student health allies and peer educators peer mental health group. The SAAC Vice President for Service attended the BIG EAST Mental Health & Wellness Summit last summer along side SAAC President Jordan Schmid.
Monticello has appeared in 50 games during her three years at Marquette and started all 17 this past season as MU's holding midfielder.
