WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana – The Marquette University men's golf team is seven holes into second round action with play suspended in the Purdue Fall Invitational at Kampen Golf Course.

Play was halted for the day on Monday at 4:02 p.m. Central time and second round competition resumes Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. CT. Teams will roll into the third round with continuous play in the same pairings.

The Golden Eagles made up some strokes late Monday to start the second round, but sat in a tie for ninth at the conclusion of the first round with a 16-over 304.

Redshirt freshman Bhoom Sima-Aree led the way in the first round with a 2-over 74, while Hunter Eichhorn was one stroke back with a 3-over 75. Sima-Aree is tied for 22nd and Eichhorn is tied for 29th.
