Golden Eagles open three-match road swing on Saturday

The Marquette University men's tennis team (7-5) returns to action this weekend at Creighton in Omaha, Neb.

The Golden Eagles will face Creighton on Saturday, April 3 at 2 p.m. CT.

This weekend's match will mark the first for the team since sweeping Illinois State in a doubleheader at Helfaer Tennis Stadium on March 20. Saturday's outing against the Bluejays opens a three-match road swing to conclude the regular season, with the league tourney set for April 22-26 in Cayce, S.C.

"We are looking forward to getting back on the court and competing," head coach Steve Rodecap said. "We were able to get a number of guys some matches our last time out, but the focus now will be determining our most competitive lineup as we prepare for the postseason and matchups against three league schools."
