Four Golden Eagles to compete this weekend

The Marquette women's tennis team travels to Ann Arbor, Michigan for the six-day ITA Midwest Regional Championship hosted by Michigan. The winners of each main draw (singles and doubles) will receive automatic berths to the ITA National Fall Championships.

"The best collegiate players in the Midwest will be at this event so it is a great opportunity for the team," head coach Steve Rodecap said. "I know everyone is excited to play and have been preparing hard to be at their best this week."

The Golden Eagles will send four players to the event, who will compete in both singles and doubles competition at the Varsity Tennis Centerin in Ann Arbor. Traveling to Michigan are Elisabeth Desmarais, Lara Kaiser, Emilija Kojcic, and Andie Weise.

In addition to the Golden Eagles, Michigan, Bowling Green, Chicago State, Cleveland State, DePaul, Eastern Michigan, Illinois State, Illinois-Chicago, Illinois, Michigan State, Northern Illinois, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Toledo, Valparaiso, Western Michigan, Wisconsin, Youngstown State.
