Golden Eagles back in action Saturday at home
The Marquette University men's basketball team (3-2, 0-0 BIG EAST) concludes play at the Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off Classic Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 5 p.m. CT against Georgia Tech (3-1, 0-0 ACC). FS1 features the television broadcast, with Brandon Gaudin (play-by-play) and Bill Raftery (analyst) calling the action. Following Wednesday's outing the Golden Eagles return home to host Chicago State at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Nov. 26.
MU Owns Slim Edge In Series
Marquette owns a slim 4-3 advantage in the all-time series with Georgia Tech, most recently claiming a 72-70 decision on Nov. 27, 2014 in the Orlando Invitational. MU has earned a victory in the last three outings in a series that dates back to 1925-26.
The Golden Eagles also claimed a 63-45 win at Georgia Tech on Jan. 3, 1977 on its way to a national title.
