Bobby O'Grady tallies third consecutive hat trick

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University men's lacrosse team fell to Drexel, 11-10, in double overtime on Saturday afternoon to close a four-game homestand.
Bobby O'Grady led the Golden Eagles (2-4) with three goals, and Will Foster and Chris Kirschner each added two. Michael Allieri recorded 12 saves between the pipes, and Thomas Washington (13-for-16) and Luke Williams (6-for-9) were both strong on faceoffs.
Drexel (4-2) was led by Max Semple, who scored five goals including the game-winner. Ryan Genord and Aidan Coll both tacked on a pair of goals, and Jack Mulcahy supplied one goal and two assists.

Notables:
- Luke Blanc, Jake Stegman and Hayden Miller all scored one goal for MU.
- Six Golden Eagles found the back of the net in the first half to send MU into the break with an 8-6 lead. Marquette also dominated faceoffs, going 12-for-16.
- Marquette's offense got off to a fast start, scoring six goals through the first 15 minutes of action, two of which came from O'Grady.
- Washington recorded a team-high seven ground balls with Luke Williams adding six and Logan Kreinz adding five.
- Three players (Jacob Hallam, Anthony Courcelle and Kreinz) caused two turnovers.
