Olivier-Maxence Prosper leads with 16 points
The Marquette University men's basketball team (19-13, 11-8 BIG EAST) saw its 2021-22 season come to an end with a 95-63 loss to North Carolina (25-9, 15-5 ACC) in the opening round of the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Golden Eagles were seeded ninth in the East Region, with the Tar Heels earning the No. 8 seed.
Forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper led the way offensively with 16 points, but Marquette shot just 35.6 percent from the floor in the loss.
Senior forward Kur Kuath concluded the afternoon with five blocked shots to move into fifth all-time (81) on the school's all-time single-season list.
