  Â
Following Thursday's action, the Golden Eagles will enjoy a rare weekend off, the team's first bye in league action.
Easter, Block Earn Weekly Honors
  Â
Marquette seniors Mikki Easter and Hailey Block both earned BIG EAST Conference accolades on Monday after leading MU to a 3-1 win at Creighton (Sept. 28) and a 0-0 draw at UConn (Oct. 1).
  Â
Easter was named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week after combining to make 14 saves in the two outings, matching a personal best (Aug. 24 vs. Denver) with eight stops against Creighton. Â She followed that up with her fourth shutout of the campaign at UConn.
  Â
Block scored a pair of goals in the victory at Creighton, her first scores of the campaign. Â She opened the scoring just two minutes into the match and provided a two-goal advantage prior to the intermission.
Pair of Freshman Net GoalsÂ
  Â
Marquette picked up a win and a tie in a pair of home outings to conclude non-league play, thanks to goals from two members of its freshman class.
  Â

  Â
Emily Fix headed home her first-career goal in the 1-1 draw with St. Thomas.
  Â
Seven different players have now scored for Marquette in 2023, but only three (Bieda, Schad and Block) have netted more than one.
Bieda Nets Goal, Ends StreakÂ
  Â
Forward Josie Bieda netted the game-winning goal in a 1-0 decision at Milwaukee on Sept. 7, snapping the Panthers' 19-match winning streak (18-0-1) at Engelmann Stadium.
  Â

Marquette seniors Isa Cook and Hailey Block were both named to the all-tournament team of the Milwaukee Challenge Cup after outings against Denver and Minnesota.
Cline Nets Winner At ColoradoÂ

  Â
Cline found herself alone at the back post in the 35th minute on a corner from Mia Heartle and Kate Gibson's quick touch at the near post rolled right to Cline's feet.
  Â
She added her first assist of the season at Creighton (Sept. 28) and now has three points on the year.
MU Continues BIG EAST PlayÂ
  Â
