Golden Eagles host DePaul Saturday night at Fiserv Forum
The No. 10/9 Marquette University men's basketball team (22-6, 14-3 BIG EAST) rallied for a 73-71 win at No. 19/19 Creighton (18-10, 12-5 BIG EAST) Tuesday night in BIG EAST Conference action.

Guard Kam Jones led the way with 19 points and Oso Ighodaro and Tyler Kolek each chipped in 18 points.

The victory allowed the Golden Eagles to remain in sole possession of first place in the BIG EAST.

Marquette used a 13-0 run over the course of four minutes to eventually build a 63-53 advantage with 7:59 left. Creighton would eventually claw back to tie the score on multiple occasions, but come key baskets by Kolek and free throws from Kam Jones proved to be the difference.

Marquette trailed by as many as 12 points in the first half and 40-32 at the intermission. Jones led the way with 10 points and six different players scored, but the Bluejays shots 53.3 percent from the floor and knocked down six treys.
