The Golden Eagles head to Cornell on Tuesday before hosting Georgetown next weekend

MILWAUKEE – Bobby O'Grady scored four goals and Charlie Reynolds had his first career hat trick in a 20-10 win for the Marquette University men's lacrosse team over St. John's on Saturday at Valley Fields.
The Golden Eagles (6-4, 1-1 BIG EAST) held the Red Storm off the board for 28 straight minutes after spotting SJU a 2-0 lead to start the game. During that time spanning the first, second and into the third quarters, MU posted nine goals in a row including all four from O'Grady.Â
Reynolds scored the first goal of his career with six seconds remaining in the third quarter and added his second with 12:03 left in the fourth.
Marquette eventually build a 16-4 lead with 10:28 left in the fourth before inserting its deep reserves for most of the final frame.
With two goals on Saturday, senior attackman Devon Cowan became the fourth Marquette player to reach 100 career points. He currently has 75 career goals and 25 assists.
The Red Storm (0-11, 0-2 BIG EAST) were led by a pair of goals from Brian Kelly.
NOTABLE:
Marquette has a short turnaround and will make the trek to Ithaca, New York to face No. 4 Cornell on Tuesday, April 11.The Golden Eagles then return home to welcome No. 10 Georgetown to Valley Fields on Saturday, April 15 as the second game in their final doubleheader of the year with the MU women.

- Marquette holds a 10-1 mark all-time against St John's, including a record of 5-0 at home. This was the first time the teams squared off inside the dome at Valley Fields.
- In last year's meeting with the Red Storm, O'Grady set the MU record for goals in a game and tied the single-game points record with an eight-goal performance (that goal mark tied Kieran McArdle's BIG EAST single-game record).
- Marquette's 20 goals is its second-highest total in program history behind last year's matchup with the Red Storm.Â
- Through just 25 games of his NCAA career, O'Grady is now fifth in program history in career goals (73) and the all-time leader in man-up scores (17). He passed Kyle Whitlow (70 goals, 2013-16) on Saturday to move into fifth.
- Cowan (75 career goals) sits just two goals behind John Wagner and Conor Gately for second in MU history.
- In addition to Tuesday's upcoming game at No. 4 Cornell, MU closes the month of April against No. 10 Georgetown, No. 9 Villanova and No. 17 Denver.
- MU won at a .667 clip at the faceoff dot (Luke Williams went 7-of-9, Grant Evans was 6-of-9 and Luke Rios was 7-of-13).
