Golden Eagles open three-match road swing
The Marquette University women's soccer team (1-2-1, 0-0-0 BIG EAST) opens a three-match road swing on Thursday night when the team travels to UIC (0-2-1) for a 6 p.m. CT match.

The Golden Eagles won't return to Valley Fields until they host Western Michigan on Sept. 14 to begin a four-match homestand, which includes the BIG EAST opener.

Marquette seniors Isa Cook and Hailey Block were both named to the all-tournament team of the Milwaukee Challenge Cup after outings against Denver and Minnesota.
Easter Grabs Career HighÂ

 Netminder Mikki Easter finished with a career-best eight saves in the 0-0 draw against Denver last Thursday.

The Culpepper, Virginia, native owns a pair of shutouts on the season and eight for her 31-game career at Marquette. Â Easter twice stopped seven shots in an outing prior to the matchup with the Pioneers.
