Golden Eagles Head to New York for second-straight BIG EAST road game
The No. 19/20 Marquette women's basketball team continues its two-game road trip at St. John's on Wednesday, Jan. 3. Tipoff from Carnesecca Arena is at 6 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on the BIG EAST Digital Network on FloSports with Maria Marino (PxP) and Kim Adams (Analyst) on the call.
SCOUTING THE RED STORM
• St. John's is coming off a 76-67 loss at then No. 21 Creighton on Sunday.
• Jillian Archer had a season-high 19 points.
• Leading scorer Unique Drake (19.7 ppg) had 16 points.
• Drake has been named on the conference weekly honor roll three times this season and was named BIG EAST Player of the Week after a 30-point outing at Yale on Dec. 21.
• Unique Drake was named preseason Honorable Mention All-BIG EAST.
• The Red Storm were picked to finish sixth in the BIG EAST preseason coaches' poll.
