Golden Eagles won first matchup of the season in conference opener
Marquette women's basketball goes on the road to face No. 22/20 Creighton in Omaha on Wednesday. Tipoff from D.J. Sokol Arena is at 6 p.m. CT.
Wednesday's contest will be on the BIG EAST Digital Network on FloHoops with Josh Peterson (play-by-play) and Rob Simms (analyst) on the call.
The Golden Eagles beat Creighton in the first meeting this season, 76-70, in the BIG EAST opener on Dec. 13, 2023. Liza Karlen had a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds to lead Marquette. Karlen, Jordan King, and Rose Nkumu combined for 17 of MU's 22 points in the final ten minutes.
