MTEN Set To Close Fall Campaign At Zach Barden Invite

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette men's tennis team will close out the 2024 fall campaign this weekend in Toledo, Ohio.

The squad will be competing in the Zach Barden Invitational hosted by Toledo.

All matches will be held indoors at Launchpad Tennis. There will two singles draws and one doubles draw during the event.

Newcomers Cyrus Ahmad, TJ Ryerson, and Remi St. Laurent have been bright spots in singles action, all three of the freshmen have tallied four singles wins this fall.

In doubles action the duo of Ahmad/Blake Roegner have paced Marquette with a pair of wins in fall competition.

"For us, it's about finishing the fall competing at a high level," director of tennis Jud Shaufler said. "The fall has been good for us in terms of growth and learning our freshmen. We know what we need to work on heading into dual competition and will prepare accordingly."
