Golden Eagles dual season begins in January
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Marquette men's tennis team concluded its 2024 fall campaign on Sunday at The Zach Barden Memorial Invite hosted by Toledo. Among Marquette and Toledo were Case Western Reserve, Denison, and the University of Northwest Ohio.
The Golden Eagles picked up five wins on the weekend in singles and doubles play.
Freshmen Evan Glebov picked up two wins in singles action, both wins came in straight set fashion against Case Western.
Glebov finished his first fall campaign with the most fall wins in singles action on the squad with five out of nine matches.
In doubles action duo Evan Glebov/Kristian Blagoev recorded a 6-3 victory over Northwest Ohio.
Hugh Perrill tallied the most doubles wins with four victories this fall for the Golden Eagles in his inaugural fall campaign.
