First meeting all-time between Golden Eagles and Dolphins
MILAUKEE - Marquette University women's lacrosse continues its stretch of five-of-six games on the road to start the season at Jacksonville on Saturday, Feb. 24.
Faceoff from Rock Stadium will be at 11 a.m. CT. No stream will be available and live stats will be at JUDolphins.com.
It will be the first meeting all-time between Marquette and Jacksonville. The Golden Eagles are 2-5 all-time against teams in Florida.
Jacksonville is 0-3 to start the season and have hosted two ranked teams, No. 12 Michigan and No. 2 Boston College. BC beat JU in the last game for the Dolphins 17-3 on Sunday, Feb. 18. Ainsley Scruggs lead the Dolphins in points with four through the first three games.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a 21-3 loss at No. 4 Northwesern last Monday night, Feb. 19.
Riley Leversedge (Denver, Colo.), Lauren Grady (Charlottesville, Va.) and Eileen Dooley (Evanston, Ill.) all made their collegiate debuts against the Wildcats.

STEINER ON PRESEASON ALL-BIG EAST TEAM
• Leigh Steiner was named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.
• Steiner, a two-time captain, has started in 31 of 40 games for Marquette in her career, including all 19 contests last season.
• The senior has seven points through the first three games this season with four goals and three assists.
MEG FIRST BIG EAST ATTACKER OF THE WEEK
• Meg Bireley was named BIG EAST Attacker of the Week in the conference's first weekly awards of the season on Monday, Feb. 12.
• The Glenville, Illinois native scored a career-high seven goals in the 18-12 season-opening win over Cincinnati on Sunday, Feb. 11. It was her 26th career game with multiple goals in her career.Â
• Seven goals tied the second-most goals in a game in program history set by Megan Menzuber and Lydia Foust (twice).
• Bireley was held to one goal on nine shots at Louisville on Feb. 16 and scored the opening goal at No. 4 Northwestern this past Monday.

• Senior Josie Kropp hit 100 career draw controls after having six in the season-opening win over Cincinnati.
• Kropp has 111 for her career, eighth all-time at MU, after having six on the road at Louisville on Feb. 16.

• Eillen Dooley scored on her first career shot in her hometown at No. 4 Northwestern on Monday night. The freshman scored off a free position shot in the fourth quarter.
