Marquette stays on the road to face Detroit Mercy Wednesday
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Marquette University women's lacrosse dropped a road contest, 18-14, at Jacksonville University on Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles (1-3, 0-0 BIG EAST) were led by Leigh Steiner, who had a career-high five points, and Meg Bireley, who scored five goals.
Hanna Bodner, CJ Meehan and Tess Osburn all had two goals each.
Jacksonville (1-3, 0-0 ASUN) was led by Brigid Manning and Lauren Ellis who had four points each.
