Jarmond earns lone Golden Eagles singles win
GRAND FORKS, N.D. -Â The Marquette University women's tennis team fell 6-1 to North Dakota Friday afternoon.
UND opened the match by claiming the doubles point with a pair of wins at the No. 1 and 2 positions.
The Fighting Hawks were able to quickly claim enough singles victories to take the team decision.
Seniors Tiana Windbuchler and Lara Kaiser took their singles match to three sets but fell short in the third set.
Tiera Jarmond was able to claim the lone dual singles victory for the Golden Eagles at the No. 6 spot in straight-set (6-4, 6-3) fashion.
UP NEXT: Marquette will take on Bellarmine in North Dakota, Saturday, February 24 at 11:30 am CT.
