WLAX Travels to Xavier Saturday at 11 a.m. CT

MILWAUKEE – Marquette University women's lacrosse travels to Cincinnati to take on Xavier on Saturday, April 20. Faceoff from Corcoran Field is at 11 a.m. CT.

Saturday will be the second meeting all-time between the Golden Eagles and Musketeers, with MU winning last year's meeting 22-7 at Valley Fields.

• Meg Bireley is sixth in the nation with 57 goals on the season.
• The junior attacker is 15th in the NCAA averaging 3.80 goals per contest and fifth averaging 8.80 shots per game.
• Bireley is two goals away from tying the program record for goals in a season (59) set by Lydia Foust (2023) and Grace Gabriel (2019).

• Meg Bireley has been named BIG EAST Attacker of the Week three times this season.
• Bireley leads the BIG EAST in goals (57), goals per game (3.80), shots per game (8.80) and is second in points per game (4.13).

JOSIE BIG EAST LEADER
• Josie Kropp leads the league and is 10th in the nation at 8.33 draw controls per game.
• The junior midfielder is 10th in the nation with 125 draw controls this season which is the program's record for DCs in a season.
• Kropp had a single game record tying 17 draw controls at Detroit Mercy on Wednesday, Feb. 28.

DRAW DOMINATION
• Marquette is seventh in the nation in draw controls per game (17.67) and 23rd in draw control percentage (57.5 percent).

MU AMONG NATION'S BEST ON OFFENSE
• Marquette is 18th in the NCAA in shots per game (32.67) and 44th in goals per game (12.93).
• The Golden Eagles are 18th in the nation in shots on goal per game (24.27).
