Golden Eagles and Friars tip at 10 a.m. CT
The Marquette University women's basketball team travels to Providence on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. CT.
The BIG EAST Digital Network on FloCollege features the broadcast with Mike Mancuso (play-by-play) and Pam Roecker (analyst) on the call.
STARTING FIVE
• Marquette is in its 20th campaign in the BIG EAST Conference.
• Marquette has two double-digit comebacks this season after being down 13 against Villanova on Saturday, Jan. 11.
• Marquette had a player on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for seven-straight weeks from November 25 to January 6.
• The Golden Eagles are second in the BIG EAST and 19th nationally in defensive field goal percentage (36.0 percent).

MASON STRONG START TO CONFERENCE PLAY
• Jaidynn Mason is averaging 11.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.0 steals in BIG EAST play.
• The junior guard has four double-digit scoring outings in the last six games after having three during non-conference play.
FORBES LEADS IN YEAR TWO AT MU
• Skylar Forbes is leading the team at 15.4 points per game this season and has four 20-point games along with two double-doubles.
• The sophomore forward has three conference honor roll selections this season to lead the team and has made a team-high 25 3-pointers.
• Forbes was the lone Golden Eagle to have started a game at MU coming into this season and has scored in double-figures in 13-of-16 games this season.
• Forbes is seventh in league playing scoring 16.2 points per game and eighth in field goal percentage, shooting 45.2 percent (28-of-62).
VOLKER CAREER SCORING STRETCH
• Lee Volker has scored in double-figures in 12-of-17 games this season after having three double-figures scoring games coming into the season.
• The senior guard had a career-high 21 points against Milwauke on Dec. 15.
• Volker has had career-highs in points (21), rebounds (10), assists (5), steals (7) field goals made (8) and 3-pointers made (3) this season.
DEFENSE LEADS THE WAY
• Marquette is second in the BIG EAST and 19th in the nation in field goal percentage defense (36.2 percent) and have held opponents to under 45 percent from the floor in all 16-of-17 games this season.
• The loss at Creighton on Wednesday, Jan. 8 was the first time this season an opponent shot 45-percent-or-better against Marquette.
• MU is 41st nationally holding opponents to 57.2 points per game.
• The Golden Eagles have held opponents to under 53 points five times and have held teams to 10-points-or-less in 18 quarters this season.
