Golden Eagles wrap up two-game road swing
The Marquette University women's lacrosse travels to No. 8 Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. CT to take on the Wolverines at the U-M Lacrosse Stadium.
The game will be broadcast on B1G+ with live stats accessible on GoMarquette.com.
Marquette and Michigan have met four times with the Wolverines leading the series, 3-1, with UM taking the last three contests.
Marquette is coming off a 15-9 win at Cincinnati on Thursday to move to 3-0 and match its best start in program history.
Hanna Bodner, Meg Bireley and Tess Osburn all recorded hat tricks. Eight different Golden Eagles scored a goal.
Mikayla Yang earned her first start of the season and seventh of her career. The sophomore saved all six Cincinnati free position attempts she faced and had a career-high eight saves.
Lauren Grady had her second-straight game with multiple assists while Sofia Santana collected a career-high four ground balls in defense.
Michigan is the first ranked opponent of the season for MU. The last ranked oponnent Marquette faced was at then #12 Denver on April 6, 2024. The Golden Eagles fell 20-6.
Following Sunday's game, MU hosts Niagara on Friday, Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. CT at Valley Fields.
