MILWAUKEE — The Marquette University men's golf team heads to St. Simons Island, Georgia to compete in The Johnnie-O at Sea Island on March 17-18 at the Seaside Course.
THE EVENT
The Johnnie-O at Sea Island enters its third year in 2025 and is hosted by MU's former BIG EAST Conference counterpart, Rutgers University. In addition to MU and RU, the event also includes Kansas, Florida Gulf Coast, Michigan State, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Princeton, Georgia Southern, Nebraska, Memphis, UNC-Greensboro and Penn State.
THE COURSE
Sea Island's Seaside Course is routinely ranked among the top 100 courses in the United States. A Tom Fazio re-design of the 1929 classic by famous golf course architects Harry S. Colt and Charles Alison, today's course ties the original Seaside with the old Marshside course. Along with the Plantation Course, it is the home of the PGA TOUR's RSM Classic, a FedEx cup event hosted by Love.
