Ring leads team with 16 kills
The Marquette women's volleyball team defeated James Madison 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-22) recording its second sweep of the season. Natalie Ring anchored the Golden Eagles posting 16 kills and 33 attacks. Hattie Bray led all players defensively snagging six blocks.

How it happened:
The Blue and Gold took game one 25-21 with Bray and Ring at the forefront notching five kills apiece. Elena Radeff also chipped in with three.
Game two saw MU leave little room for doubt as they quickly secured a 25-16 win. This time it was Bray and Radeff that kept the Golden Eagles in front as they earned four kills respectively. Bray also showed up defensively for MU totaling three blocks to stop the Dukes.
The final win came in dramatic fashion as JMU attempted to regain their momentum. Leveled at 22-22, Radeff opened the score to give MU the lead. From there, it was all Marquette as they sealed the match with a 3-0 run.
