Golden Eagles Open Dual Season on the Road in North Dakota

MU will face UND on Friday and Montana State on Saturday
MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's tennis team will travel to Grand Forks, North Dakota to take on the University of North Dakota on Friday, January 16 in dual season opener.
The squad returns four players from last season, including Aiyana Abbott, Luciana Mendoza, Emma Davis and Elena Duva.
The team added two freshmen to this year's roster, including Maria Poon and Elise Barnstedt.
North Dakota Matchup
The Fighting Hawks and the Golden Eagles both enter the match with a clean slate as this match will be the first test for both teams.
First serve is set for 11:30 a.m. CT.
In five meetings between the two squads, UND holds the advantage over Marquette with a series record of 3-2.
Montana State Matchup
MU will be back in action Saturday, January 17 to close its opening weekend against Montana State. The match will be played at the University of North Dakota.
This will be the first time in program history that the two teams meet.
First serve versus MSU is set for 10:30 a.m. CT.
