Senior men's distance runner Henry Mierzwa is the Baird Blue & Gold Student-Athlete of the Month for March as chosen by Marquette Athletics' Academics and Student Programs staff.

An information systems and marketing major, Mierzwa is the vice president of communication for Marquette's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, where he manages all social media for student-athletes promoting community engagement and service opportunities.

The Park Ridge, Illinois native earned BIG EAST All-Academic Team honors as a junior, is on the College of Business Dean's List, Athletic Director's Honor Roll and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society.
