The Golden Eagles went 2-0 last week
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette men's soccer team started off its spring 2021 season with two thrilling overtime victories in the first week of the season. The Golden Eagles will look to follow their wins up with another strong performance against the Saint Louis Billikens on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 4 p.m. Central time. Live stream and stats will be on GoMarquette.com.
In 2019, The Golden Eagles finished 8-9-1 and clinched their second straight BIG EAST tournament bid. MU had four All-BIG EAST selections, including a first, second and two third team selections. Two of the team's players, Patrick Seagrist and Luka Prpa, were selected in the first and second rounds, respectively, in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.
Head coach Louis Bennett will lead the Marquette men's soccer team for the 15th consecutive season in the spring of 2021. He has 93 career wins at the helm of MU and will attempt to become the second coach in school history to hit the 100-career win mark (Steve Adlard, 1992-05, 140 wins).
