Marquette concludes regular season April 17-18 on the road
The Marquette University women's tennis team (5-5) saw Drake (7-5) rally for a 4-3 non-conference victory Saturday afternoon at Helfaer Tennis Stadium.

The Golden Eagles opened the match by claiming the doubles point, pulling away at the No. 1 and 2 positions for 6-2 victories. Freshmen Andie Weise and Emilija Kojcic clinched the point at No. 2.

Marquette moved ahead 2-1 after a three-set win by Elisabeth Desmarais at No. 5 and Natalija Popovic did the same at No. 1 for a 3-1 advantage.

Unfortunately, MU was unable to secure another victory for the team win and the Bulldogs rallied with a decision at No. 4.
